ZF Group company ZF Sachs Turkey, located in Gebze-Kocaeli, producing shock absorbers for vehicles, is looking for a NPM (Non Production Material) Operation Buyer for its growing organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for purchasing and the procurement of supplies and services for respective locations
• Prepare RFQs, examine prices, evaluate all quotes that are received, monitor the availability of items, compare specifications and review alternatives to determine most desirable suppliers using tools such Decision Matrix, EXCEL-calculation, SAP, or Supply On
• Issue, maintain and store purchase orders for supplies and services for all departments to support ongoing plant operations, Communicate with suppliers concerning RFQ’s, POs, deliveries and other issues may occur
• Work closely with involved departments (specification, scope of work, approvals, lead times, etc.)
• Track and report purchasing volume of indirect materials and other KPIs for respective locations as needed.
• Communicate with managers & employees of functional departments at respective locations and other sites in Turkey, NPM Buyers within the Turkey organization, and global Commodity Managers in assigned commodities

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5-8 years experience in purchasing and/or manufacturing
• Broad knowledge of assigned categories, materials, services, processes and indirect materials
• Excellent Interpersonal and negotiation skills,
• Communication and organizational abilities and detail-oriented personality
• Fluency in English
• Turkish native speaker
• Living or willing to live in Asian side of İstanbul or Kocaeli(Gebze& İzmit)
