Quarry Responsible – Job description
· check that the quarry's production levels are maintained safely to schedule
· provide the Site manager with information and statistics on the quarry's performance
· closely monitoring all areas of the quarry to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard
· manage and regulate the quarry budget
· check that all vehicles on site are maintained to a good standard.
· undertake regular quarry inspections and risk assessments in order to comply with all health and safety regulations
Requirements
· Bachelor of Science degree in Mining or similar Engineering (Progressive responsible mining experience)
· Knowledge of budgeting, P&L, planning, permitting, compliance, regulatory negotiations
· Knowledge of mineral processing, materials management (inventory and movement), and physical/chemical properties of materials
· Knowledge of English language
· Proficiency in MS Office
