Uluslararası Gökkuşağı Koleji, İZMİR ÇİĞLİ'de açacağı yeni kampüsü için deneyimli, İngilizce'yi akıcı konuşabilen, okulun günlük operasyonlarını yürütecek, okulun uygulayacağı ulusal ve uluslararası programları yönetecek, mesleğini seven, yenilikçi, ekibine ilham verecek, öğrenci ve öğretmenlerine hedefler koyarak liderlik edecek ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise yöneticileri aramaktadır.

Adayların, demokratik, açık iletişime dayalı ve sağlıklı bir okul kültürü oluşturacak; ders müfredatları uygulamalarının başarılı takibinin yanında öğretmen ve pedagojik liderlerin öğrencileri dengeli bir eğitim için sanat-spor-toplum hizmeti gibi etkinliklere yönlendirmelerini teşvik edecek; eleştirel düşünebilen küresel vatandaşların yetiştirilmesine gayret gösterecek bir anlayışa sahip olmalarını beklenmektedir.

Adaylar, 2021-2022 Öğretim yılının 2.döneminde veya sonunda göreve başlayabileceklerdir.


The International Gökkuşağı Schools is now opening its new campus in ÇİĞLİ-İZMİR and looking to appoint dedicated, energetic and inspirational primary-middle and high school directors (principals and assistant principals) to lead our team, who will oversee all higher-level operations in the school.

Succesful candidates may start in the 2nd term or at the end of the academic year 2021-2022.

They will create a safe learning environment and set performance goals both for students and teachers, oversee the process so that those goals are attained and implement and monitor the school policies. To succeed in this role, they should be able to make quick decisions under pressure and have a comprehensive understanding of the international education systems/programmes such as Cambridge International and International Baccalaureate (IB). Excellent communication and organizational abilities are also important skills they should demonstrate.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day school operations
  • Manage school logistics
  • Set learning goals for students and teachers based on curricula
  • Promote the achievement and well-being of children
  • Monitor and report on teacher performance
  • Present data from school performance to board members
  • Research new resources and techniques to improve teaching
  • Interview and hire school personnel
  • Support the pedagogical leaders of the school reviewing and implementing the school policies
  • Provide guidance and counseling to teachers
  • Handle emergencies and school crises
  • Manage school events and assemblies
  • Attend conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trends
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for students

    Requirements

  • Previous experience
  • Knowledge of school administrative processes and international educational models
  • Hands-on experience education management systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • Crisis management
  • Ability to coach and inspire
  • A teaching license is preferred
  • Degree in Education; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Fluency in English
