We are looking for ''Operational Purchaser''.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Negotiate and formalize purchasing contracts with suppliers according to group strategies
  • Get significant and regular savings in terms of total cost : Price, Quality and Service.
  • Implementation of purchasing strategy which optimizes materials pricing, minimize operational costs
  • Define and optimize suppliers panel on a regular basis, select a restricted numbers of suppliers with the best total cost competitiveness, right industrial knowledge and appropriate financial solidity
  • Responsible for buying the best quality materials at the most competitive prices, to enable a Regional Center to operate profitable
  • To ensure materials availability necessary to execute approved production plan
  • Cooperation with Category Purchasing Manager (starting from RP1 phase, after approval of Category Purchasing Manager)
  • Management of the current material forecasting system, development of “future” state
  • Management of vendor sourcing, effective negotiation and material procurement
  • Work with suppliers to determine quality, quantity, specifications, packaging and cost of materials
  • Material receiving and working with Quality Manager for quality control systems
  • Participate in the development of new processes, products and facilities
  • Develop new supplier
  • Conduct research to ascertain the best materials, products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers;
  • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of materials provided;
  • Process payments and invoices;
  • Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future
  • Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
  • Produce reports and statistics
  • Evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors
  • Push suppliers involvement at an early stage within project development process, seeking the best technical-economic solutions and gleaning product & services innovations
  • Push and monitor significant and regular operational savings in terms of Total Cost : Price, Quality, Lead time, for new and current business
  • Set operational purchasing objectives, for Project management and Operational tasks (productivity, daily purchasing monitoring …)
  • Implement and adjust purchasing methods and negotiation tools in order to improve team efficiency and productivity.


MAIN SKILLS:

  • Engineering or Purchasing degree
  • At least 2 years of experience purchasing department
  • Good knowledge of Industry environment , previous experience in R&D, Logistics, Quality …
  • Expert in costing and negotiation
  • Knowledge of small appliances products, market and suppliers
  • Comfortable in complex human networks, capable of efficient influence over non hierarchical fellow
  • Good level of communication, negotiation and management (strong leadership)
  • Fluent in English
