QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
What you will do
Operations and Warranty Manager will be directly reporting to Operation Manager, Turkey & Caspian Region. You will be based in İstanbul, will be part of a growing team and act as the primary on-site leader for execution teams on assigned projects.
You will act as a subject matter expert during the pre-bid process, in collaboration with field sales department. You are responsible for the overall profitable execution of projects, whilst ensuring compliance with contractual terms & conditions, applicable legal requirements and the highest ethical standards. Dependent on project size, you may lead a multi-disciplined team of project engineers, technicians and designers.
How you will do it
As Operations and Warranty Manager, you are the primary on-site leader for execution team consisting of both front line delivery teams and subcontractors. You will assess project and margin achievability and provide the field sales organization with objective and reliable information related to engineering design, cost of labor, material and subcontractors, etc. You will ensure flawless and profitable project execution in compliance with contractual obligations, Johnson Controls processes and procedures, industry installation techniques and applicable legal requirements.
You will attend job progress meetings as required, steer corrective actions and define recovery plans where needed. You will negotiate, prepare and issue subcontractor contracts. You will manage the selection, ordering, warehousing and logistics of materials as required for the project. You are pro-active in terms of managing risks to project and margin achievability through analyzing financial reporting systems and project schedules and calibrating solutions & establishing project recovery plans. Upon project completion, you will ensure successful transition to appropriate Johnson Controls Field Operations team and coordinate relevant customer-training requirements.
You will coordinate Warranty process to provide alignment with Local & Regional teams by following flow of information.
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor’ degree in construction, civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent work experience
- Progressive Project Management experience in HVAC industry
- Installation, service, engineering or commissioning experience
- Ability to lead and direct diverse teams
- Good financial understanding.
- Proven track record in managing risks and establishing project recovery plans.
- Business acumen
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and customer interfacing skills
Preferred
- Comprehensive technical and operational knowledge of the industry
- Certificate in project management
