As UNICO, we are handling logistics, shipping, warehousing, stock management operations globally and we are looking for a "Operations Manager" to assign at our Istanbul / TURKEY office with below mentioned qualifications.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors degree in International Logistics or related fields.
· At least 8 years experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Operations.
· Min. 4 year team management experience.
· Advanced planning, organization, presentation, communication and reporting skills.
· Have knowledge of policies, procedures related to international transportation.
· Good command of MS Office applications.
· Good command of English with verbal and written communication skills.
· Meticulous in job follow-up and time management, successful in stress management.
· Good team player, ambitious and confident
· Good at working with details.
· Analytical and result-oriented approach.
· Driving license B
· Resident in Istanbul
JOB DESCRIPTION
Managing all logistics operations, business processes and OPD team of Unico Turkey branch.
Managing the necessary coordinations and practices to realize the operational efficiency and quality improvements in order to achieve the operational excellence target.
Analyze, increase the profitability of operation and search the ways of reducing the costs.
Manage supplier relations, follow the performance of suppliers and extend the portfolio of suppliers.
Administer the contract with the customers and suppliers.
Able to work on pricing with the colleagues related to the details of the projects.
Collaborating actively with the sales team and accounting team.
Monitoring and analyzes KPIs, creates and monitors action plans along with operations.
Weekly, monthly reporting to General Manager & Operational analyze reporting based on compliance of each quarter.
