QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Leading international manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide, present in several countries across the world seeks qualified OPS Efficiency Specialist within the development of its activities to fill the following position in daily operations in;

Essential Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications :

  • Formal qualifications in an Engineering or Science subject (Bachelor or Masters Degree),
  • 3 year’s experience of working in a Service operations based role,
  • Experience of the wind industry or other similar industrial organizations,
  • Experience in working in matrix organizations,
  • Experience in designing and implementing operational improvements,
  • Project management qualification/experience,
  • Excellent English language skills,
  • Computer literate, able to use MS Office, in house systems and workload management systems (SAP),
  • Experienced in dealing with complex tasks,
  • Flexible and stress-resistant,
  • Process-driven mind-set,
  • Able to deal with conflict,
  • Strong decision making, planning, and prioritizing skills,
  • Systematic working approach and problem-solving behavior,
  • Willing to travel including nights away from home,
  • Strong teamwork & collaboration outlook,
  • Superior analytical skills,
  • End-to-end-thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the country organizations to define local operational improvements,
  • Ensure optimum preparation for new turbines types coming into service to drive operational efficiency from the start,
  • Work with the countries to develop and implement new efficiency ideas or optimized processes on a divisional or global basis,
  • Collaborate with Technology Management to develop new methods or processes for field operations,
  • Develop ideas for efficiency, organizational, or support process improvements and follow them through to implementation,
  • Track efficiency improvements and follow up developments by implementing and monitoring the most important KPI’s for Service operations,
  • Carry out benchmarking internally and externally to know what best practice is in the industry,
  • Close cooperation with country organisations,
  • Working regularly with other HQ departments to support specific projects.
