QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
BorgWarner İzmir Plant is seeking for Software Engineers to develop real-time electronic control systems for automotive powertrain systems.
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Computer or Software Engineering from a reputable university.
· Strong knowledge on C programming language.
· 0-10 years of relevant full-time experience
· Experience on developing real time embedded control systems.
· Fluency in English.
· Preferably having knowledge of high level simulator tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK.
· Preferably having good knowledge of general purpose languages such as Python, Perl.
· Preferably experience in automotive, defence or aerospace industry in a similar position.
· Awareness of software life cycle processes (e.g. Scrum, V-Cycle), software coding standards (e.g. MISRA-C) and code analysis tools (e.g. QAC, Polyspace).
· Awareness of version control tools (e.g. Plastic SCM, IBM Rational ClearCase, SVN, GIT) and task tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, IBM Rational ClearQuest).
· High level of interpersonal and teamwork skills.
· Motivation to work with embedded systems software.
· Military service must be completed or be deferred at least 2 years for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Software requirements capture and analysis.
· Developing and testing safety critical software with given specifications.
· Automated coding of system level models.
· Integration and review of code.
· Analysing unit test results.
· Bug-fixing, failure analysis and root cause analysis activities.
· Writing/Modifying scripts in Python or Perl with given requirements.
