Your role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Istanbul / Turkey

How will you add value to the Ozan journey?
- Build and manage a system to improve software development life cycle and quality, automate deployments, and keep up run-time systems, monitoring and alarm systems healthy and secure.
- Continuously improve systems for better scalability, security, availability, and performance
- Participate in the design and implementation of core infrastructure systems
- Participate in project planning meetings to share their knowledge of system options, risk, impact, and costs vs. benefits.
- Plan and execute deployments
- Optimize CI/CD infrastructure costs
- Monitor performance and maintain systems in accordance with business SLA requirements
- Apply and track configuration changes
- Identify technical problems and develop or suggest software updates and fixes
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- ight collaboration and contribution with software development teams, software quality assurance teams, product owners, and IT management.
- Perform routine system maintenance to ensure the production/test/dev environments run smoothly. Develops maintenance requirements and procedures.
- Document systems under responsibility
- Provide Level 2 technical support,
- Provide support for urgent needs,
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Experience administering Linux systems and networks in a production environment
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, shell script languages, SQL, and others.
- CI/CD experience on on-premises servers such as KVM, ESXi/vSphere, HyperV, virtualized environments, cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack.
- Experience on agile project management (Scrum, Kanban)
Hands-on experience with:
o Version control systems - Git, Github, Bitbucket
o Deployment – Jenkins, GitlabCI
o Containers - Kubernetes, Docker
o Testing – Selenium
o Orchestration & Configuration – Puppet, Chef, Ansible, other
o Project Management – Jira
o Documentation - Confluence
o Communication – Slack
o Monitoring – Kube monitoring with prmetheus, graph extraction with Grafana
o Load balancers, proxies – HAProxy, Nginx
o Databases: PostgreSQL/MSSQL/Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis
o Messaging: RabbitMQ, Kafka
o Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
