QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

loveturkey is a travel agency and service provider specialising in travel to Turkey. loveturkey is looking to welcome a Photo Editor to join their Creative team, serving as the content creator for photographs captured by onsite photographers from three different locations across the Mediterranean.

In this role you will be responsible for collecting, editing, exporting, and uploading collections of photographs taken by onsite photographers. The ideal candidate should excel in Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Photoshop as well as being a reliable team member who values teamwork before individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Creative Team Leader and Creative team members to identify photography requirements
• Communicate projects to photographers and keep track of deadlines
• Participate in Creative, brain-storming sessions
• Review photos and edit, making necessary changes to ensure the outcome is in line with business objectives
• Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication
• Follow priorities set by the Creative Team Leader and adjust plans as necessary
• Manipulate photos to achieve the highest quality using the appropriate tools
• Ensure all photo equipment is used properly and order supplies as needed
• Liaise with team members, departments and third-party suppliers advising on future projects
• Stay up to date with new image editing technologies

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years working alongside colleagues in a team environment
• Ability to demonstrate respect and be polite and courteous to co-workers
• Able to travel within Turkey at short notice
• Up to date with technology and keen to research and follow new trends
• Effective communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to multi-task, identify potential problems and propose solutions
• Solid experience and high proficiency with digital technology and photo editing software packages e.g., Photoshop, Pixlr and Affinity Photo
• Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photography techniques, studio management and colour composition
• Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills
• Time-management skills
• Qualifications in photography, visual arts, digital media, or related field is preferred but not essential
• Experience with content creation for social media is preferred but not essential
