QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or industry equivalent in Television/Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred,
  • A minimum of 4 years related work/production experience,
  • Strong knowledge of video and photo principles (lighting, composition, etc.), equipment, and capture/editing programs,
  • Strong compositional skills and knowledge of industry-related trends,
  • Must display a passion for both photographic and video content and a commitment to holding editorial integrity,
  • Strong on-set skills, model direction, and attention to detail,
  • Knowledge of sneaker culture and streetwear is a plus!
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with a high level of attention to details,
  • Strong understanding of the latest trends and their role within a social media and commercial environment,
  • Developing concepts for videography and photography with visual content production manager, marketing and ecommerce teams,
  • Have a good sense for story and pacing,
  • Collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply well created finalized products,
  • Strong visual designer for videography, sound design, photography, and non-linear editing software (i.e. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Imovie, Photoshop, Lightroom) is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the brands primary videographer and photographer for recording and editing of all marketing including but not limited to promotional videos, ecommerce, digital media, and social media requirements,
  • Capture high quality photo and video that meet brand standards (e.g. Action or experience, product, social media, events, etc.),
  • Curate a strong gallery of aspirational images and video content which will be used to reflect the brand in marketing and press,
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing department to draft original storytelling pieces and contribute to the creative development process,
  • As part of the Content Team, collaborate with marketing managers, ecommerce managers, and others to support marketing initiatives, from concept to execution,
  • Oversee video content from pre-production to postproduction, including pitching creative together with visual content product manager and others, directing talent, and editing in related programs,
  • Collaborate with Visual Content Production Manager on studio build-out and set-up, specifically: procuring equipment and ordering supplies/expendables,
  • Monitor and maintain equipment inventory,
  • Perform additional tasks as needed, including, but not limited to live production, shooting, sound recording, gripping, edit direction, color correction, and audio editing.
