Planning Specialist

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Min 2 years experience in Supply Chain and/or Planning
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to report accurately and meet deadline
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Good analytical thinking skills
  • Team working and customer oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customers


Job Description

  • Support optimal master production schedule for the tactical horizon from time fence (month 2-3) to 24 months, including: Production volumes based on demand, Rough cut capacity analysis, Resources allocation resulting in anticipated operational costs and inventory levels
  • Support the entire S&OP process and Supply Review meetings
  • Manage supply KPI reporting and analysis
  • Owns planning parameters in ERP System like MOQ, campaign size, product segmentation
  • Ensure right level of SKU Inventories at the next point of the supply chain
  • Optimizes local planning processes such as lead times, product segmentation, and production frequencies to increase the efficiency of the production unit
  • Coordinates action plans to remediate resources constraints
  • Aligns Master Production Schedule (MPS) to the production plan approved in S&OP
  • Is responsible for the finished product inventory, capacity and resources planning for the whole production unit for the tactical horizon
