QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for analysing, data modelling, report and dashboard designing and development actions for related BI projects
- Performing design and implementation of processes; Design, build, and deploy Power BI solutions
- Administering Power BI platform
- Being responsible from all of the logical aspects of the data transformation process
- Work with users and team members at all level for performance improvement and suggestions
- Delivering projects in a timely manner at the proposed level of quality, working together with source system owners, data management teams and other internal or external business units
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related areas. Looking for mid and senior level consultants
- Having hands-on experience in Business Intelligence / Reporting / Analytics / Visualization projects
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer; Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, QlikView, Tableau, Looker, SAP BO, SAP Analytics Cloud etc.)
- Advanced M language and DAX skills
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
- Having experience in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling), data mining, data modelling, databases, report design and familiarity with business vocabulary
- Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Experienced in SSAS and Azure Analysis Services tabular modelling.
- Experienced in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience with complex SQL queries, Database objects (Tables, Views, stored procedures, triggers) creation and enhancements and Data Analysis
- Preferably hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Big Data Analytics and Azure Data Lakes
- Experienced in software languages such as PL-SQL / T-SQL and/or Python, and in MS Office applications
- Knowledge in SAP ERP and SAP BW systems is a plus
- An analytic mindset with a propensity for methodological approach (analysis, requirements, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation)
- Able to think proactively and having a result-oriented approach
- Enjoying doing research and being able to gather knowledge to find out and execute best practices of the areas he/she is responsible for
- Ability to learn and respond quickly to the fast-changing business environment
- Ability to interact with business as well as technical teams
- Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement
- A team player and able to lead and initiate
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Advanced level of English (Speaking is a must); preferably German
