QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversees the daily operation within the Process Unit, in a way that is consistent with a culture of self-direction (empowerment and accountability), to produce and deliver high quality products to customers in a compliant, efficient, and cost effective manner. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), statutory, regulatory, and Novartis requirements.People - Coordinate the operators in his/ her responsibility area to work efficiently and in line with production plan
- Support multiskilling and arranging the training and development plans
- Track absenteeism, leaves and overtime of operators in his/ her responsibility area
- Manage performance of operators to meet targets, give them timely feedback and inform Facilitators regularly
- Support building organizational culture in line with Novartis values and behaviors
*Product and Process
- Track E2E (End to end) all products in his/her responsibility area
- Update production SOPs regularly
- Review and approve MBRs fully and deliver to the next process in timely manner
- Provide quality products and processes on time, every time, safely and efficiently in his/ her responsibility area
- Evaluate and escalate all matters about quality, safety, people and processes to department managers and other related associates
- Act as a key user to ensure accurate and effective usage of Production and Quality systems (SAP, MES, Trackwise etc.)
- Ensure and track all recipes are up to date in accordance with production requirement
- Involve in/ lead Operational Excellence and Productivity projects
- Support local and global projects
*Quality / HSE
- Ensure Quality and HSE requirements are met
- Perform and track investigation of deviation and complaints, root cause analysis related to production and take preventive actions on time
- Involve in HSE and Quality audits in his responsibility area, ensure all audit actions are completed within deadlines
- Support development of Quality and Safety behaviors and culture
*Equipment
- Ensure coordination of production equipment to work properly with planned capacity in his/ her responsibility area
*Finance
- Ensure production is in line with budget targets and defined resources (people, equipment, material, service, overtime, absenteeism etc.)
-University; Chemical Eng., Pharmacy or Chemistry
-Language: English - fluent in speaking and writing ; additional languages preferred
-Min 6 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/ chemical industry, ideally knowledge of a process oriented organization and self-directed culture a plus.
