Our Tensioner facility is looking for Procurement Analyst. Please review below to see if this might be the right opportunity for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for all matters related to cost of supply for assigned categories.
  2. Establish strategies and lead procurement activities (sourcing events, negotiations, data analysis, projects, contract lifecycle management, supplier development and selection, data management, etc.) to optimize costs, working capital, and terms for assigned spend.
  3. Assure material flow of assigned categories into respective Gates sites.
  4. Responsible for supplier performance, capacity, and to develop poor performing suppliers. Implement and maintain KPIs to monitor and improve performance of managed supply base. Conduct recurring business reviews with assigned suppliers.
  5. Ensure suppliers are compliant to Gates supply agreements and requirements.
  6. Own and optimize the regional price update process and cadence of maintaining pricing for the EMEA region with a high degree of accuracy and optimal time to completion.
  7. Participate in initiatives to minimize cycle time, improve user experience and increase accuracy of output reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent analytical and project management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across regions, functions, and levels; fluent in English
  • Excellent negotiating capability
  • Collaboration and influence management skills; works effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and MRP/supply chain systems

  • Preferred: CPSM (ISM) or CSCP (APICS) certification
  • Preferred: prior experience in commodity management, category strategy development and implementation
  • Preferred: Experience in driving large scale transformational VA/VE projects within a global cross functional setting
  • Preferred: experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred: Experience managing cross functional insourcing programs related to make vs. buy opportunities
