About the Viessmann Purchasing team;

Viessmann Purchasing team sustains their significant role with their technical and interpersonal skills. The team works for hand in glove with operation teams to ensure early engagement in the areas of material selection, supplier selection, facilitating technical and commercial communication between suppliers and the team. Promote a strong liaison with appropriate interlocutors across all business units and foster good working relationships with suppliers. New member of the team will share these crucial responsibilities and contribute to strategic sourcing.

Your contribution to the team includes

Viessmann Purchasing team manages 84 suppliers which are composed of %48 local suppliers and %52 global suppliers. New team-mate evaluates suppliers and negotiates purchase agreements with them, as well as maintains the inventory of supplies.

Main responsibilities are;

• Managing local and global purchasing activities.

• Evaluate cost analysis from suppliers, supplier performance during the development phase.

• Perform supplier audits.

• Develop and manage cost reduction projects.

• Managing the initial sample approval process for new parts or new suppliers.

• Searching for alternative or new suppliers.

• Supporting supplier development activities.

What you’ll need to be successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical or industrial engineering field.

• 5 years of experience in a related area.

• SAP MM module knowledge.

• Excellent in-house and external communication and liaison skills

• Analytical thinking, result-oriented team player.
