QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for ‘’Procurement Specialist’’ for our growing organization in Ognar. In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement processes of many different items belonging to various projects. You will work both domestic & abroad existing suppliers and research for new suppliers in domestic&abroad for new projects. Job Description & Responsibilities

· Responsible for all items orders per purchase requisition and per agreements,

· Purchasing the items with best prices, high quality and on time,

· Tracking all open orders until receiving of the related items/services and informs requesters regularly,

· Being able to reading Food items specifications and finding suitable demanded items.

· Following the procedures for importing the items from abroad.

· Managing the bureaucratic operations about imports, permissions and customs,

· Coordinates documents, quality, invoice etc. with suppliers on time. Checks and approves all related invoices and documents on time,

· Selection of logistics and customs-related service providers,

· Making the quality performance evaluation of suppliers,

· Having good communication and relationship with our suppliers,

· Making research in market to create alternative supply channels and gaining the alternative suppliers,

· Preparing regularly reports of the purchasing analysis and the work results,

· Use market knowledge to generate and update regularly, accurate short/medium and long-term forecasts for Material pricing to aid better purchasing decisions.

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines,

· At least 2 years of experience in purchasing processes, Preferably in Food Industry,

· Experience of strategic sourcing and food sourcing,

· Preferably knowledge of food commodities markets and Food specifications,

· Considerable knowledge of purchasing methods of analyzing supplies, items and services, also procedures and techniques of specification writing,

· Good knowledge of MS Office programmes,

· Good command of English both written and spoken,

· Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills,

· Strong negotiation and conceptual skills,

· Self motivated, optimistic, dynamic,

· A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline environment,
