TIMAGRI is looking for a Product Category Engineer
Position Summary:
TIMAGRI is seeking a highly motivated Product Category & Development Engineer to grow our engineering team. This position will be responsible for new product listings on TIMAGRI.com online platform, product development processes, working with key suppliers of TIMAGRI equipment and find new suppliers. This position will primarily work in the Istanbul office but at times will be asked to travel for trade shows, supplier visits, sales events and TIMAGRI Centers located at several cities.
Experience & Education
- Engineering Degree
- Agricultural Background a plus
- 1-3 years experience at an engineering position a plus
- Strong computer skills including Office programs
- Driver’s License a plus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Executing competitor analysis and up-to date benchmarks for product comparison
- Defining new Product / Project documentations with all related technical data,
- Reviewing periodical projects’ meetings and following up sessions organized with all stakeholders,
- Editing & Following products’ detailed data including coding, the status of product, specifications, product design, possible production locations, pricing, etc.
- Managing and following the Artwork documents of all products (Giftbox, User manual, photo shootings, serigraphies etc),
- Being able to coordinate 2 dimensional electrical designs
- Conducting main engineering system implementations
- Preparing and analyzing BOM (Bill of Material)
- Conducting coordination between manufacturing base and the actual design of the product.
- Evaluation and optimization of 3D harness-models together with outsourced designers
- Engineering-interface between customer and manufacturing-plant, including support of trial-builds and assurance that resulting changes are correctly implemented in plant
