QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are leading the sandwich panel market in Turkey and are the largest sandwich panel producer in the Middle East. We export to more than 85 countries with our production facilities in Tuzla, Balıkesir, İskenderun, Jordan, and Azerbaijan and are on the fast track to be a global player in the sector. With 8,500,000 m2 in sales from production since 2010, we have achieved a record capacity use rate of 85% which is a rare occurrence in Turkey and the world.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent,
- At least 5 years of experience in polyurethane chemistry and polyester polyol chemistry,
- Preferably experienced on polyester polyol formulation and esterification reaction,
- Knowledge for stoichiometric calculation,
- ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 knowledge is a plus,
- Preferably residing or able to reside in Balıkesir.
Job Description
- Responsible all the new polyester polyol formulation development and polyester polyol synthesizing lab-scale & pilot scale,
- Performing all the Polyester Polyol product analyzing and develop new analyzing methods for characterization,
- Performing potentiometric titrator with Hydroxyl number and Acid content analysis and FTIR characterization,
- Responsible of start-up Polyester Reactor Unit and Manufacturing Process optimization for all type Polyester Polyol,
- Carrying out Polyester Polyol formulation & process improvement,
- Cooperation with Polyurethane R&D team for researching polyester polyol formulation and be aware of requirements of rigid polyurethane foam,
- Be aware of Polyester market intelligence and following up new products/technologies,
- Performing all required documentation include regulations documentation.
