QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

PRODUCT MANAGER

BACKGROUND

Grand Medical Group AG is a group of pharmaceutical companies specialized in the development, production and introduction into medical practice of modern innovative products based on organic, synthetic and herbal compounds.

The company entered the pharmaceutical markets in 2002. Since that time the company’s portfolio has been expanded, and new products are actively introduced not only to rapidly developing markets but also to mature markets of Central, Western and Southern Europe and Asia.

GMG is seeking for a high skilled team member for its new established organization in Turkey

Qualification

- BA Degree or equivalent, ideally in Life Sciences or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing as a Product Manager.

- Strong technical skills and an in-depth understanding of marketing including strategic business planning processes and project management experience, experience of developing and implementing effective marketing plans.

- Strong understanding of marketing and sales force needs. Able to understand the dynamics of the field force.

- Change oriented, able to modify strategies according to priorities in the short, medium and long-term.

- To be able to prepare visual aids, and literature for detailing and communication plans.

- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, is essential.

Requirements

- Knowledge of the market and Urology and Gyneacology areas is preferred.

- Previous Sales experience is advantageous.

- Successful track record in launching new products/line extensions/indications would be preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish brand plans for product by coordinating input from all parties involved to identify a clear marketing strategy and identify communication goals; along with key message development and communication for product positioning and branding.
Develop and implement effective long term brand strategies in cooperation with medical team
Drive the process for resources and deliverables needed for launch readiness, launch excellence; execute successful launches for new products
Drive and co-ordinate the development & implementation of external and internal marketing tools for the product (i.e. product brochures, training manuals, slide kits, branding guidelines, workshops), with a multi-channel approach
Leverage external relationships with organizations that may play a critical role in the brand disease area.
Liaise and co-ordinate activities with external agencies. Select, brief and monitor agencies to ensure integrated marketing communications strategy is reflected in all activities and communication goals are met, while managing agency budgets effectively.
Collaborate effectively with Medical team to leverage product efficacies in order to increase standard of care, by optimizing disease awareness, diagnosis, treatment, patient compliance and differentiation phases.
Determine sales & expense budgets and closely comply to these budgets
