QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs daily production schedules in line with the batch size and inventory policies
- Performs daily missing part back order processing
- Releases and monitors production work orders
- Identifies and work to resolve issues which impact the ability to meet the production schedule
- Properly applies planning parameters and suggests changes or improvements to parameters as required
- Participates to Operations projects as required
- Keeps inventory level under budget directives
- Responds to Customer Care inquiries (via phone, facsimile and e-mail) on Operations related issue
- Understand impact on inventory and manage all factors such as product seasonality, discontinuation and management of inventoried finished goods
- Help define and implement KPIs to monitor performance and highlight issues on an ongoing basis to improve the efficiency of the team.
- Determine root cause and preventive actions for any missed orders related to planning
- Participating in all site safety programs to drive a more positive and inclusive safety culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience related experience
- Excellent system and analytical skills (EXCEL required)
- Excellent communication and team building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Skilled at working in a fast paced environment open to constant change in demands
- Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude and the ability to work within a team
- Professional written and verbal communication in English and interpersonal skills

- Experience with Supply Chain Planning techniques and Inventory management
- Business Objects/Business Warehouse experience is a plus
