Established in 1962, the regional leader in industrial and commercial projects and specialized in design, development, integration, and application of large-scale construction projects.
We are expanding the activities at our Department of Industry as Project Management Office for both national and international.
We are looking for a Project Manager to be assigned to upcoming Project Management projects in south side of Turkey, initial commencement will be on Head office in İstanbul upon Design stage completion Project Manager will be relocated to the Construction site.
Job Summary
Our Project Management department will be responsible from preliminary design coordination to all construction period until Handover to Client as a Client Superintendent. We are going to coordinate International Architectural design firms as well as Local Design Engineering firms to achieve the Client goals during design stage. As a fully responsible Project Management team, we also manage all Tender Stage, coordinating the bidder’s correspondence and report to Client. After successfully completing the bidding stage, our project management team will be on site and manage all subcontractors as a Client Superintendent.
List of tasks, responsibilities, and end results to be achieved:
Project management experience delivering on complex projects requires management of multidisciplinary teams, sub-contractors, and customers.
Manage variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers in order to find solutions to accelerate project delivery within target budget.
Excellent negotiation skills to deal with customers, suppliers, and other parts of the business to reach most beneficiary solution,
Control and update project program and budget periodically.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree from Civil Engineering,
Minimum 15 years total experience of working on large scale projects (abroad in the post is essential),
At least 10 years of experience in Project Management within 5 years previous experience as Project Manager position,
At least 10 years of experience in Residential and commercial development projects,
Shall be able to understand all related Architectural, Electric, Mechanic discipline and interface concepts,
Being responsible in managing all project related disciplines and team leaders including but not limited to Design Coordinator, Quality Coordinator, Contract Manager, Budgeting, Tender and Technical Office Managers,
Participates and leads in tender negotiations with contractors, consultants, vendors, and other public agencies,
Continuously monitoring all project and application phases, taking all necessary measures in advance and ensuring that they are taken,
Control and update project program and budget periodically.
Ensuring that the team understands that the organization’s profits and achievements are reflected in all its operations and activities– including relationships and risk management.
To have sufficient knowledge of legislation within the scope of the work in question,
Represent the Company in front of Customer and project stakeholders,
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills,
Solid knowledge and understanding of tendering processes, policy, and systems
Advanced planning, organization, and analytical thinking,
Advance user of MS Project and MS Office tools,
PMP certification is a plus
Advanced level of Fluency verbal and written communication skills in English,
Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately,
Shall maintain effective and timing cautious performance under pressure,
Willingness for domestic and international travel,
No military obligation for male candidates.
Willing to relocate.
