QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
- Management of Specialized Cargo shipments
- Work with various products to facilitate and manage shipments
- Performs all kinds of operational transactions and controls the customers under his/her duty.
- Closes files completely and without any mistakes
- Responsible for the accurate and complete preparation and timely delivery of monthly profit and loss reports.
- Provides control of the operation processes and documents of the department.
- Planning and execution of shipments managed within the team
- Ensure compliance with all internal procedures as well as all applicable government regulations
- Compliance with import/ export customs regulations
- Knowledge with reviewing commercial & transportation documents
- Tracking & tracing of shipments
- Document compliance
- Onsite support in supervision of loading, packing, and coordination of project moves
- Accurate and timely billing
- Customer service & relations
- Vendor relations
- Overseas communications
- Self-development - 52 hours of required training per year.
Qualifications
- 5 + years’ experience in Project Logistics
- 7 + years in handling overweight, over dimensional loads via barge, rail, land, air & ocean
- Organizational management skills
- Knowledge in export and import regulations
- Experience in ocean and air charter operations
- Strong project cargo logistics management skills
- Confident communication skills, both oral and written
- Possess a strong sense of customer service and adaptability
- Ability to handle daily tasks and projects independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
