Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Project Coordinator team by providing administrative, technical, and clerical assistance

• Documenting meetings and keeping records of assignments and progress

• Analyzing technical drawings, preparing reports, proofreading, and editing documents, and developing presentations

• Prepare detailed and summarized work schedule for each project

• Maintain accurate records on project details & changes throughout the project cycle

• Calculate, schedule and order materials for each project before the start date

• Prepare and/ or co-ordinate the preparation of delivery time, costs, and stock quantity of the material

• Prepare technical and commercial parts of tender packages

• Review change orders and requests/prepare quotes as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Technologist, Construction Management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and MS Project is an asset

• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

• Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing

• Proactive, take-charge attitude in resolving problems with creative solutions

• Attention to detail and patience

• High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
