QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Project Document Controller, having the following qualifications to be employed in our company.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc. in Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Good command of English
- Relevant experience in large Petrochemical plants/ EPC projects
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the specific discipline
- Similar role covered in last projects
- Experience working on the contractor side
- Experience with multinational projects
- Excellent attention to detail
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure that all project documents are well checked and submitted on time
- Document classification, sorting, filing, archiving, and retrieval of documents in accordance with project document indexing and filing systems
- Receive all incoming correspondence and register all incoming technical documentation
- Distribute and file all documentation in accordance with document management procedures and (prepare) work instructions
- Receive, update and store requests for information
- Carry out handover, close-out and archiving of documentation
- Work closely with all departments and maintain awareness of document control amongst project team members, subcontractors / suppliers by informing and explaining the procedures and tools
- Produce status reports regarding status of the project on deliverables of documentation
- Track milestone payments and collaborate with finance team
