QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Döktaş Iron Casting has been founded in 1973 in Orhangazi county of Bursa city is the biggest and leader foundry in Turkey. In Bursa Orhangazi facilities cast iron, nodular cast iron and machining activities and in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone facilities high and low pressured aluminum cast and aluminum rim production are being carried on.
Döktaş has joined GÜRİŞ Holding in July 2018.
Döktaş with its annual production capacity of 155.000 tons of cast iron, 15.000 tons of aluminum cast and 1.200.000 pieces of rim, produces aluminum, nodular cast iron and grey cast iron to the automotive, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and machinery manufacturers.
Being in 202nd rank in ISO Top 500 Companies List in 2020, Döktaş has an important place in Turkish economy with its approximate 2800 employees.
We are looking for innovative, business oriented, team spirited“Project Engineer” to join our team for Döktaş plant in Bursa – Orhangazi which is the leading company in foundry sector, with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (preferably in industrial, mechanical and metallurgical engineering),
- Min. 2 years’ experience in project management,
- Advanced level English, both written and spoken,
- Knowledge in MS Project or SAP PS is a plus,
- Advanced MS Office knowledge,
- Being collaborative and customer oriented,
- Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders and project team members,
- Basic knowledge in new product introduction (NPI), request for quotation (RFQ), request for modification (RFM), product development (PD) and investment processes.
Job Description
- Ensuring to implement projects according to planned budget, quality and time,
- Follow up the projects from kick off to SOP,
- Leading the project team as project manager, provide the coordination between the disciplines,
- Organizes teams according to the critical deadlines in the time schedule,
- Assignment of tasks and alignment of targets with team members,
- Working across departments, take over customer communication,
- Using and developing the SAP Project Systems module, regularly reporting the projects to the top management.
