QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

qualifications/skills:

.Bachelor’s or higher degree in BA, economics or engineering from a reputable university (having an MBA is a plus),

· Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of project finance, corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, strategic planning and business development, due diligence, etc.,

. experience from advisory departments of international consultancy companies (such as Big 4), investment banks, financial institutions, M&A houses, multilaterals or similar institutions,

· Being a CFA Charterholder or a candidate is a plus,

· Strong interest and skills in financial analysis, financial modelling, ability to maintain and develop complex financial models and presentations,

· Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially in Excel and PowerPoint,

· Excellent command of English language, both written and oral,

· Strong inter-personal skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing,

· Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects with a high quality outcome in a fast-paced and demanding work environment,

· Teamwork capabilities and multi-task oriented with focus on key details,

· Sufficient technical knowledge in accounting, tax, IFRS, financial analysis, valuation, debt structuring, and etc,

· Willingness to travel, i.e. no obstacles for travelling within Turkey or abroad.



The successful candidate will be accountable for:

· Preparing/assisting /managing all project financing processes including term-sheet and loan documentation discussions with existing and potential lenders,

. Preparing/assisting and developing financial models and presentations for project/acquisition financing of existing/new projects and assets,

· Providing in-house financial feasibility assessments for new projects with an independent perspective,

· Actively participating in execution of structured finance and M&A transactions,

· Conducting in-house valuation/due diligence/research studies for mergers, acquisitions, exits, or reporting/accounting purposes,

· Assisting in debt and equity capital markets activity process by working with investment bankers, tax and legal counsels, and all applicable parties,

· Participating in due-diligence & contract negotiations,

· Assisting in preparation and evaluation of local / international loan utilisation packages and export credit facility applications,

· Coordinating the external advisory processes including but not limited to valuation or due diligence activities,

· Monitoring and reporting financial risks and implementing hedging strategies via derivatives,

· Analysing and reporting the financial performance of the potential partners for construction/investment opportunities,

· Conducting market, industry and peer researches,

· Analyzing financial and operational data of a wide range of companies,

. Preparing and updating the group presentations to be utilized for business development and/or financing activities as well as for keeping the various stakeholders (financial institutions, insurance agencies, etc.) up to date,

· Closely following the financial performance of subsidiaries and ensuring the efficient use of financial resources,

· Fulfilling ad hoc analysis or report requests for various purposes,

. Assisting in the daily/routine financial activities of the finance team, whenever needed.
