QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Good English language skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, as they will be required to work with and be prepared to speak to sensory panels consisting of 30+ people and with SCPI category scientists and Panel leaders
Good presentation skills (at least written)
Sensory background is nice to have but not must
MS Office
Organized, good attention to details and process driven, as the sensory area is very prescriptive about data storage and methodologies utilized.
Self-starter, self-motivating - The candidate should also be motivated and able to prioritize their workload
Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to different cultures.
Administration- Panel Administrative (Test Scheduling and site panel planning, safety, sample delivery)
Panel management & Testing- General Panel Management for DI Panel
- Run smooth and timely sensory panel sessions
- Training panelists appropriately for test methods
- Weekly meeting with EER SCPI leaders in terms of planning tests for the upcoming weeks
- Timely run screenings making sure panel has enough pull for running tests with 30+ panelists.
Panel Motivation- Track panelists participation and keep panel motivation process running smoothly by ordering motivation products/materials and delivering it to panelists timely
Reporting & Analyzing- Run Technical reports in PEP required format
- Debrief to SCPI
- Meet PEP deadlines
Sensory Laboratory- Timely order sensory materials and keep informed PEP SCPI manager for sensory lab needs
- Keep control of order all sensory rooms (Testing room, storage room etc.)
- Emptying boxes and tidying the store room
- Disposal samples
Sample management and cleaning:- Making sure that samples available for the test
- Connect to product developers for asking about samples
- Serving samples to sensory panelists
Other projects support by demand:
Providing internal support for tasting sessions to local SCPI like;- Product Decision Event's (material preparations and test ballot preparations),
- Supporting product testing sessions for MPT's (twice a year at max) (material preparations, labelling, serving etc.)

- Follow Client rules: on site rules, Health & Safety, Security, etc.
- Keep under control that sensory panel follow PEP H&S rules, and in sensory Lab H&S rules are followed
- Maintain the confidentiality of information gained during the course of the assignment with the client, whether it is corporate information, concerned with the business or the customers, whether it is obtained in any form i.e. verbal, written or data based, stored on magnetic or electronic media and data communicated through communication lines
