QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, talented, and creative Project Manager for LeyLak. Applicants should have a motivated, outspoken, and organized character to carry out numerous duties as required for the smooth operation of the whole project.

Job Description:

1. Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
   
2. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
   
3. Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
   
4. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
   
5. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
   
6. Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
   
7. Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
   
8. Have a good understanding of the businesses' products and be able to advise others about them
   
9. Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
   
10. Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
    
11. Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.
    
12. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
    
13. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
    
14. Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
    
15. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors.
    
16. Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.

General Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a reputable University in business management or project management or any relevant field.
   
2. Minimum 5-7 years proven working experience in managing projects (commercially, logistically, and operationally)
   
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous whilst meeting tight deadlines.
   
4. Proven project management experience (20% Manufacturing 80% Project Management)
   
5. Advanced & Proficient use of MS Office Applications & Tools.
   

1. Proven work experience in managing multiple projects and Excellent client relationship management experience as well.
