Project Manager (m/f/d) Newbuild Wagons Turkey/Southeast Europe

For our business unit Railcar Europe in Hamburg or Turkey we are looking for you as International Project Manager (m/f/d) Newbuild Wagons Turkey/Southeast Europe as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
• Support and management of freight wagon newbuild projects (tank wagons, standard freight wagons, intermodal wagons, etc.) on site at the wagonbuilders
• Support of VTG newbuild project leaders
• Management/assurance of VTG quality level on site with inspection, assessments and reporting
• Supplier development mainly in Turkey/Southeast Europe
• Support in optimizing VTG’s technical standards and quality respecting maintenance and LCC
Your profile:
• Master’s/university degree in railway wagon technology / mechanical engineering or similar
• Experience in freight wagon building and/or international steel constructions
• Knowledge of technical standards and rules for newbuild wagons and maintenance
• Experience in international project management
• Adequate communication skills, assertiveness, team orientation and self motivation
• Experience with MS Office communication software
• Independent, responsible and accurate way of working
• Sound knowledge of spoken and written Turkish and English
• Prerequisite: Willingness to travel
