QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our company, which was established in 1989, designs and manufactures plastic and electronic parts

for the world's leading white goods, automotive, communication and defense industry companies in

its Istanbul and Bolu factories.

We are looking for a teammate to work as a 'Project Purchasing Officer' in our Factory operating in

Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. You can find up-to-date and detailed information about our company on

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual

to join us in starting something remarkable as a Project Purchasing Responsible

· Sending request for quotations to pors (including all requirements for the new part)

· Technical and commercial discussions (with suppliers and internally)

· Supplier selection managementtential supplie

· Order & supply management of samples & tools

· Ramp up management of nominated projects

( including initial purchase order placement & fullfilment of all documentation needed )

· Cooperate sourcing strategy

· Serve as key contact in Alpplas purchasing towards Customer PM and Partner PM throughout the

project lifecycle

· Accountable for timely readiness of RFQ

· Follow up progress of new part, take action when deviating from target (quality,costs, delivery) and report accordingly

· Responsible for project management deliverables – component lead time, action lists,

status reports, investments, cost & resource overviews

· Hand over responsibilities for new part to logistics and commercial purchasing after approval

· Contribute and drive team’s performance towards achieving project objectives.

· Manage project-level risks and opportunities pertaining to time delays.

· Execute procurement plan for new projects, define critical BOM components & build up an

alternative scenario on to fullfill project needs.

· Work on various improvement and standardization initiatives within purchasing & procurement

team.

· Promote project&purchasing management knowledge and best practice sharing within.

· No restriction to travel for business purposes locally and internationally

Qualifications

· Graduation from Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering department of the universities

· Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing ( International ), R&D or Project Management

· Incoterms knowledge

· Minimum 3 years experience in managing customer projects in new product development area

within automotive & white appliances. International or multicultural working experience

will be an asset.

· Proven commercial and risk judgement skills

· Self-driven, result-oriented and flexible in working approach, team leader as well as team player

· 'Customer-first’ mindseted

· Structured, fact-based and analytical in working approach

· Good at documenting and reporting on project meetings and program/project portfolio progress

· Work well in stressful situations and able to manage between multiple projects and topics at same

time.

· Good negotiation and communication skills

· Advanced excel skills
