QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree from Metallurgical or Mechanical engineering
- Advanced English. Fluent speaking and writing in both English and Turkish language is mandatory.
- 5 - 7 years of experience
- Shall beable to analyze technical documents, specifications to understand critical requirements
- Shall be able to negotiate commercial terms
- Proficiency with office software, plus ERP, DMS and CRM program proficiency is a virtue, CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus
- Accommodate or available to relocate at Cerkezkoy area.
- For Turkish Male candidate, preferably military service should be finished or exempt
- No restriction for domestic and international travel
Job Description
- Executing all foreign procurement activities.
- Handle Foreign Supplier Relations Management.
- Ensure that purchases comply with commercial, legal and contractual obligations.
- Handle internal operations and communication on Foreign Supply Chain.
- Conducting negotiations with the suppliers on cost, quality, payment and delivery terms optimization.
- Handling the supplier contracts.
- Follow up of suppliers' production processes and dispatch planning,delivery process and invoices.
- Monitoring Project Activities with sale for early stage preperations.
- Conducting payment requests and monitoring with finance department.
- Conducting 3rd party inspection activities with QA/QC department.
- Preparing and conducting Vendor Approvals and Performance Evaluations.
- Preparing Weekly Status report for supply activities.
- Preparing Quarterly Reports to Management.
- Market research for alternative suppliers.
- Implementing procedures and supplier management process.
- Creating Purchase orders and update status on ERP.
- Improve the Supply Chain Records and Traceability on Document Management System.
Senior Applicants will also be evaluated but shall:
Analyze technical data and specifications to determine the equipment needed for projects
Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets
Supplier Performance Development
Risk Management for Supply and Sources
Drive innovation through procurement
Prepare reports for stakeholders regarding the nature and function of purchased equipment (carbon foot print ratings and reduction plans)
