QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Purchasing Engineer candidates who has knowledge about machined and turned steel components for powertrain and engine components supplied to Tier1 OEMs for automotive industry.

Job description

· Exploring for new suppliers, sourcing opportunities locally and internationally

· Optimization of the Suppliers selection processes including also price analyses and price negotiations

· Support to Production Planing and Finance for inventory management activities,

· 5 years purchasing experience in global company.

· Good negotiation skills

· Experience in a technical purchasing is an asset.

· Preferred responsible commodity: automotive industry

· Good command of Turkish and English/German

Personality Requirements

· Bachelor Degree as an Engineering or Administrative Sciences of Reputable Universities

· Professional Command of Englishand /or German

· Experience in automotive industry especially forged casting and machining

· Experience in Raw Material Purchasing

· Closed Relationship with Finance for the budgetting process

· Support to improvement processes of the company

· IATF 16949 support and hands on follow ups

· Analyse and use sound judgement: you look into problems to identify root causes by applying facts, numbers and sound logic.

· Build relationship: you build harmony and establish good relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

· Good team player and communicator,self starter
