QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Purchasing Engineer (Fixed Term) for our growing organization in Aegean Free Zone, GAZIEMIR – İzmir
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- High level of spoken and written English (Corporate Language is English)
- Advanced level of ERP understanding
- Advanced level of Technical Drawing Knowledge
- Minimum 5-6 years Purchasing experience, preferably Stainless Sheet Metal and or Machining Parts
- Advanced MS Office & Excel knowledge
- Cooperate with Global Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Production and Logistics Departments
- Strong communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical capability
- Strong motivation to perform as best in class
- Team Player
- “B” Class Driver’s License
- No restriction for travelling in and out of country
Job Description
6 months fixed term contract – replacement of an employee on maternity leave
- Drive continuous improvement at the suppliers in Denmark, mainly lead by KPI
- Perform purchasing activities with foreign suppliers on direct spend categories (i.e.: Sheet Metal Parts, Machining Parts, Commercial)
