General Qualifications
We are looking for innovative, team spirited " Buyer/ Project Purchasing Leader (PPL)" to join our team for Ficosa Turkey which is the leading company in Automotive sector, with the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields,
• At least 4 years or more experience in related position (Especially Experienced in Project and Sales)
• Experienced in purchasing plastic raw materials,
• Experienced in sourcing project management,
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
• Knowledgeable in efficiency studies and cost analysis,
• Preferably received training on IATF 16949 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System,
• Able to work under tight deadline, developing forecasts, negotiation skills, reporting skills, analyzing information, experience with a database management system,
• Fluency in oral and written English,
• Collaborative approach to working with others and having strong ethical values,
• Valid Driver's license is a must,
• Completed military service for male candidates.
Job Description
• Selecting the most suitable supplier in terms of price, quality and reliability in line with purchasing strategies,
• Continuously reducing costs by increasing the price competitiveness of the company,
• Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction or giving the expected support to the relevant units,
• To follow the economic data that causes price changes for the material groups for which it is responsible, to make price bargains in line with the changes in these parameters and to keep them up to date
• To manage the material budget effectively,
• Within the scope of supplier development activities; To determine the requirements for the improvement of supplier performance, to follow the actions and to be responsible for the improvement of the process,
• Being responsible for keeping the supplier portfolio up-to-date to meet the company's expectations and working on alternative suppliers,
• Making Spare Parts and End of Project (EOP) agreements
