GENEL NİTELİKLER

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering

• At least 3 years of experience in Automotive or Automotive Supply Industry

• Experience in Purchasing systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English

• SAP Proficiency will be an asset

• Analytical thinking, team work skills, self motivated and well organized

• B class driving license is required

• No restrictions for traveling abroad

• No military obligations for male candidates

• Living/willing to live in İzmit

Job Description

• Investigating and establishing approved sources of purchase materials, supplies and/or outside services as per commodities assigned working in conjunction with Magna Corporate Procurement team objectives

• Negotiating production/purchase contracts

• Analyzing, recommending and implementing cost savings initiatives as determined by annual budget process

• Solicit and coordinate the maximum amount of supplier assistance necessary for the application of new and improved material and processes in accordance with engineering activities and protocol

• Visit vendors to investigate facilities, capacity and ability to meet quality, delivery, specifications and economic objectives

• Maintain a record system for suppliers, requisitions, purchase orders and material specifications.

• Address and resolve all vendor commercial issues

• Track & report daily verification report activity as it relates to released CMs

• Track & report vendor performance using Magna Systems and PowerBI systems established • Support Logistics Operations & purchasing related activity

• Maintain standard cost accuracy and track
