QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Definition
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for our company located in Silivri and assembling electrical installations for the automotive sector.
- To ensure that products and materials are purchased in the most appropriate terms and conditions, in accordance with company strategies and rules,
- Continuously following the changes in prices, making forecasts, making analyzes and reporting to the Deputy General Manager.
- To conduct/ensure research on new products, qualified suppliers and prices in the local market or abroad regarding all company purchasing operations,
- Being responsible for the strategic, tactical and operational processes of critical purchases and directing the relevant units, - minimising the threats/risks,
- Ensuring the expansion of the purchasing portfolio by negotiating with alternative suppliers,
- Raw materials, semi-finished products, technical equipment, etc. To be responsible for the supply of materials at the desired time and amount, to the desired location with the most suitable price,
- Reducing the cost of purchased materials according to the determined annual KPI targets,
- To control and follow up the duties of the team he/she is responsible for, to manage the performance of the team and to ensure its development,
- Inventory management, cost reduction, stock optimization, effective field management etc. To carry out activities related to procurement and to take part in projects,
Qualifications
- University degree preferably from Engineering Faculty,
- Able to speak English at a good level,
- Having IATF 16949 quality system experience,
- Ability to bargain
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing processes in the automotive industry,
- Completed military service (for male candidates),
- Residing in Istanbul European side (especially Silivri, Büyükçekmece and Beylikdüzü) for Tekirdağ Çorlu,
- No restriction to travel in Turkey or abroad,
- Goal and achievement oriented, with high persuasiveness,
