QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Purchasing Quality Engineer (M/PQA-BuP3).

The role is based at Bursa Bosch Brake Systems Plant.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Coordinate quality management systems towards the 3rd party suppliers.
  • Coordinate, analyze and recommend improvements of methods, procedures, and standards in support of local operation initiatives (Lean, 5-S, BPS, Etc).
  • Responsible for quality metrics reporting for the supply base.
  • Be in charge of Initial sample measurement verification
  • Collect the failure cost and conduct the technical plausibility check
  • Be Responsible for supplier claims and documentation: *Issue Q2 to supplier and follow up and evaluate supplier’s 8D, *Review and Check the supplier action effectiveness
  • Be Responsible for concession treatment inside the plant regarding raw material
  • Coordinate the rework/sorting activities for purchased parts
  • Be the Interface between manufacturing plant and purchasing organization
  • Be the lessons learned data provider for other plants, PMQ, PQT, PPX and PUR
  • Coordinate the incoming inspection
  • Coordinate the purchasing parts issue between plant, PMQ, PQT and suppliers
  • Coordinate sorting area: planning of workload in coordination with external company, audit sorting tracker, PQA quarantine audit
  • Support to Claims Managers in Initiation and management of containment activities including sorting to protect production lines from quality issues.
  • Participation in root cause investigation to provide corrective actions for problems facing our production lines (generally related to purchased components).


Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Bachelors in engineering
  • 7+ year’s applicable quality engineering (QE) experience.
  • Recurring interaction with direct labor a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of particular area of expertise required
  • (i.e. product, process, quality methods and tools, lean, access database, etc)
  • Application of various quality related tools (e.g. 8D, PPAP, FMEA, Audits, etc.)
  • Excellent oral written and presentation skills in English
  • Technical knowledge of automotive parts customer specification, product applications, etc.
  • Assertive, accountable, and self-motivated
  • Some travel (<10%)
