RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops the sources of supply for the materials to be purchased in line with the quality policy and quality targets, ensures the improvement of the existing resources.
- Plans activities that will meet the external and internal customer expectations and ensures continuous improvement in accordance with the company vision, strategic goals, policy, and employee ethics policy, and undertakes the responsibility of inspection, monitoring and improvement by including the suppliers in this process.
- Prepares the annual purchasing budget plan and maintains through planning and negotiating the procurement of materials and/or services.
- Keeps the best price - quality balance for the materials to be purchased, places orders in accordance with the customer's conditions, ensures the supply, following up, checking the conformity to the order, quantity, and deadline.
- Participates in advance quality planning, ensures that costs are obtained, analyzed, negotiated, and reported during product development; participates in value analysis and value engineering activities (VAVE), reviews/reports ongoing costs to provide a focus/awareness of cost impacts of programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree in business or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a purchasing automotive manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in Turkish and English,
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with technical attitude. Strong PC competency demonstrated (Word, Excel, PPS, etc.).
