We are searching for a " Purchasing Specialist" who will work in our office ,in İzmir Bornova location.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or MSc degree in related department,
- Excellent command of written and verbal English (second language German will be an asset),
- Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing process,
- ERP knowledge of SAP (MM) would be an asset,
- Having knowledge about procurement process and international trade,
- Technical background regarding purchasing process,
- High negotiation, interpersonal and analytical thinking skills,
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications,
- Able to work in Izmir,
- No restriction to travel within Turkey and abroad,
- No military obligation for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for purchasing activities of direct/ indirect materials,
- Create PO’ s , forwarding relevant form to suppliers and receiving an approval from suppliers,
- Monitor lead-times, quantities, deliveries of PO’ s,
- Follow up global sourcing operational activities,
- Conducting localization activities,
- Ensuring a good communication between suppliers and departments in the procurement process,
- Preparing purchasing documents, keeping records and approvals received from supplier, submitting to relevant departments if necessary,
- Preparing relevant reports in weekly, monthly and annual basis,
- Look for alternative/ approved suppliers in line with company material requirements if necessary,
- Taking actions on different in function or cross function projects assigned by his/her manager.
