QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for "QA/QC Manager" to our Rompetrol CoGen Power Project in Romania
QUALIFICATIONS;

BS in Civil/Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering
At the minimum, it has to be total 15 years of relevant industrial field experience
Must be knowledgeable in the ANSI, ASME, EN, ISO or equivalent codes and standards which are directly associated with the type of work and tests that are being conducted
Qualifications in Welding and NDT (CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or equivalent; ASNT/EN or equivalent Level II in RT (interpretation), UT, MPI, PT, VT) and Welding Engineering (IWF/EWF or equivalent) would be an advantage.
Qualifications in Coating (NACE/BGAS or equivalent), Civil, Structural, I&C would be an advantage
Knowledge of Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
Structured, systematic way of working and good at collaboration
Assertiveness and ability to negotiate & convince on management level
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Russian would be an advantage.
Ability to prepare reports

JOB DESCRIPTION

Implementation of Company’s Project Quality Plan (PQP) on the Project by ensuring activities, actions and deliverables per PQP are delivered at appropriate time by responsible parties.
Be responsible for project Quality Control and field level activities including site management, labor and/or subcontractor management and report preparation as required to advance project progress
Maintain up to date field records including daily progress reports, progress schedule, meeting documents, shop drawings, test reports, as-built records and other documents necessary to document field activities
Coordinate the preparation of required interim and final documents for projects in his or her charge
Reviewing and approving Contractors and Suppliers QC Documentation/Dossiers for a structured handover to the next phase (Commissioning team or Company Technical archive in Project)
Prepare and recommend scientifically valid and appropriate quality assurance measures for technical assignment, e.g. data collection activities
Act as liaison with other professionals and field personnel to accomplish the efficient and smooth implementation of project directives
Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly change management meetings
