QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, communicating, and continually improving the Quality, health, Safety, and Environmental Management System with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 Standards along with the requirements of the Veolia OHS Management Guidelines.
- To raise the safety Culture of All Employees to reach the Interdependent Level, matching the department output with the Safety culture level
OBJECTİVES
- Ensure an Accident-free workplace - Achieving VEOLIA’s Zero Accident Goal and Work towards reaching the Interdependent stage of our safety culture
- Control the environmental impact of our Activities and Services through well-detailed Plans
- Promote and Implement plans for a safe and stress-free work environment
- Improve the organizational QHSE performance by efficiently using Lean and Quality Tools
TASKS
- Liaise and follow up with all internal and external interested parties to ensure HSE Rules & Regulations are being applied
- Initiate, Review, and finalize the projects/Activities/Services Risk Assessment, Environmental Aspect & Impact Register along with their control plans
- Prepare Emergency Plans and controls for all the premises.
- Perform frequent Site Inspections & Facilities Audits, generate control plans, and follow them up
- Raise Awareness about HSE Rules & Regulation, Work Instructions & Procedures among the Employees at different functions and levels
- Participate in and conduct the Incident/Accident Investigations & Root Cause Analysis while generating corrective actions.
- Collaborate with all Process owners to reach the total integration of the QHSE management systems while securing the ISO 45001:2018, ISO 1400:2015 & ISO 9001:2015 certifications.
- Assist Sales & tender teams in all their bids qualification, pre-qualifications, and assessment
- Arrange and lead 2nd party Supplier’s audit and give recommendations to approve/disapprove them based onQHSE international Standards and VEOLIA’s HSE requirement
- Come up with innovative ideas to increase the QHSE Management system efficiency, using digitalization as a foundation of thinking
- Promote Behavioural-Based Safety methods to continually raise the Employees Safety culture
- Investigate Customer and internal Complaints - Finding root causes and generating corrective actions recommendations - Followup those actions with concerned process owners
- Prepare and revise the Quality Assurance /Quality Control Plans considering the client’s requirements and standards
- Keep the documented information of the processes compliance obligations, maintain and revise it frequently (Legal & Other Requirements)
- Measure and Monitor the QHSE department Performance. Prepare Frequent (at least Quarterly and Yearly) reports for the QHSE process showing the related Objectives and KPIs performance evaluation
- Coordinate with the ME QHSE Manager and other QHSE team leaders in the region to align the department and organization’s QHSE Objectives with Regional and VEOLIA’s ones.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Engineering Degree in Quality and/or HSE management, Master is plus (any Engineering degree can be considered)
- 3 to 7 years of experience in QHSE; with a multinational corporation
- Certification: Any (or combination) of the following are accepted - NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, CSP, and/or ASP
- Familiar with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and certified in ISO 9001:2015 Management System and Documentation (Lead Auditor certificate is preferred)
- Fluent in English and having Turkish as a native language
- Health and safety certificate A or B degree
COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS (MAX OF 5 EACH)
TECHNICAL
- ISO Guidelines (9001,14001,45001, other ISO standards knowledge is a plus)
- Local country Legal & Other requirements
- IOSH, OSHA, NEBOSH certificate(s)
