QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are in search of experienced “Quality Control Manager” for our factory, located in Mersin - Tarsus. Job description and required skills for candidates as per below;
Essential Duties
Implement and manage the quality control program (Receiving quality, process quality control and final quality control),
- Prepare the quality control plan (ITP) as per client requirements on special projects,
- Prepare welding procedures (WPS, PQR), realise welder certifications,
- Conduct quality control meetings
- Manage and coordinate the three phases of quality control (preparatory, initial and follow up)
- Manage documentation by quality control specialists, testing personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel,
- Perform submittal review and approval,
- Ensure testing is performed, and provide QC certifications and documentation,
- Lead all quality control activities,
- Be fully aware of the contract, plans, specifications and applicable code,
- Document and submit a weekly /monthly Report of Quality Control activities,
- Perform material inspections to verify that the products are to specifications and that storage, staging and material handling methods are implemented,
- Coordinate 3.th party testing agency activities,
- Attend partnering meetings, QC plan meetings, coordination and mutual understanding meetings and conduct the QC meetings
Required Skills and Specifications
- Having mechanical egineering degree
- Having international welding engineer certification
- Minimum 5 years QC managerial experience of minimum 10 years experience.
- Having knowledge of problem solving methodologies and Istatistical process control experience
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, managerial, and communicative (written and oral) skills
- Flexibility to coordinate multiple projects QC control processes
- Experience of manufacturing under ASME,PED and CE specifications,
- Proficient Microsoft Office appilications, Autocad and Solidworks experiences
- Experienced with PPAP, FMEA, Kaizen and 5S applications
- Haigh level of skills on data analyses, reporting and documentation.
- Experience of Supplier audits and evaluation,
- Residing or able to reside in Mersin / Tarsus
- Who has no military obligation
