QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering

• Preferably +3 years of experience in a related role

• Experience in Quality Assurance

• Knowledge in quality system standard AS9100 and GD&T and inspection methods

• Good knowledge of problem solving and Quality Assurance tools

• Knowledge of CANIAS is an asset

• Casting and machining experience will be plus

• Proficient using Microsoft Office tools

• Good command of English

• Result-orientated and analytical thinking skills

• Detail oriented and proactive

• Strong interpersonal skills with the team and the related departments

• Eagerness for improvements


JOB DESCRIPTION


• Checking, planning and validation of Customer Quality Requirements for new POs

• Preparing/coordinating FAI (First Article Inspection) inspections and package & taking customer approval

• Conducting quality engineering related activities such as process flow charting, problem, investigation/analysis, standards and procedure updating/development, report writing, and presentation development in support of daily activities

• Performing and presenting daily quality KPIs and lead necessary corrective actions

• Determining quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes

• Preparing PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, KPC and Control Plan

• Conducting quality system and special process audits as required

• Supporting lean manufacturing system

• Providing overall leadership for quality and reliability of products

• Identifying root cause through data analysis for preventive and corrective actions

• Coordinating and taking all necessary actions for goods returned from customer

• Taking active role at new part launches
