A.Ş on 2010 after partnering with Pratt & Whitney, which is a division of Raytheon Technologies, one of the leading organizations of the aviation sector. Kale Pratt & Whitney has a total of 16.250 m2 facilities in Aegean Free Zone; the company is one of the leading aviation companies in Turkey and its facilities contain many special processes. The company was founded with a 51% Kale Group and 49% Pratt & Whitney partnership, its main field of activity is the manufacturing of aircraft engine parts and subassembly groups.

We are looking for a ‘Quality Special Processes Engineer’ in accordance with the following specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related department
• Excellent command of English
• Knowledge on metallographic specimen preparation, mechanical, corrosion and conductivity tests
• Having experience on aerospace laboratory activities
• Having experience on aerospace customer and NADCAP audits
• Having NDT experience or holding a certificate (Level 2 or Level 3 per NAS410) will be plus (especially in X-Ray Inspection or Etch Inspection)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good team player and having motivation for success
• Strong interpersonal skills with the team and the related departments
• Detail oriented and proactive

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparing and revising the procedures and work intructions according to customer specifications or NADCAP requirements
• Communicating the auditors or customer representatives with their questions
• Giving training to laboratory inspectors and to improve them
• Working in a cooperation with Business Development Department on preparing quotations related with laboratory, pressure test, super-clean inspection or related NDT areas
• Preparing to NADCAP and customer audits and working collaboratively with Special Processes Engineers
• Resolving the quality issues in a customer oriented manner
• Working on IAS based ERP system when tracking parts or documents
