Relevant working experience (> 5 years, but > 8 preferred) on tasks mentioned under “job description”
Graduate degree from technical university, Master’s or PhD with specialization mechanical engineering, solid mechanics.
Profound knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) and Fatigue Life Assessment and deep knowledge of relevant CAE tools.
Expert in using optimization tools in multi-domain & Excellent knowledge on IT environment used for CAE task execution (Linux based server)
Strong ability to lead, cooperate, integrate and work in a team, analytical thinking and target oriented working skills with a pragmatic and proactive attitude
Clear communication (both verbal and in writing) on several levels within organization.

Job Description:
Create and execute simulation plans and assure that analyses and recommendations are robust, clear and delivered on time
Supervision of CAE projects by optimization of parts/components
Definition and supervising outsourcing to local and international engineering partners.
Close cooperation with design and testing departments, coordination of the required design changes, testing conditions, validation points
Cooperation with other global R&D centers of Daimler Trucks AG (Germany, Brazil, USA, Japan, China, India)
Realization of budget and capacity plan
Definition, documentation and continuous improvement of robust FEM analysis processes
Develop state of the art simulation process, automated tool chain and process based on generative design within the field of FEA in order to promote the improvement of the current method with analyzing accuracy and validity of CAE results
Lead a team of 10 employees and secure the know-how by building know-how transfer
