QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our location Izmir, Turkey in the R&D Department we are offering a job opportunity as a part of Product Group Tie Rod.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree with a related engineering specialization
- Technical background with a strong understanding of mechanical or automotive engineering
- At least one year experience, preferably experience with designing steering or suspension components
- Knowledge in steering or chassis system in automotive industry or other relevant mechanical applications
- Knowledge of automotive customer standards and requirements
- At least two years of experience with 3D design systems (Catia V5 preferred)
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembling technologies
- Basic knowledge of forged products made of steel and aluminium materials
- Well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method
- Cooperation with internal / external customers and suppliers; presentation of results and processes
- Contact technical in supplier development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interaction
- Adaptive to efficient teamwork
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) & German is preferred
- No restriction for travelling & living abroad (around 30%)
- Driver’s licence
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Creation of new products based on OE customer specifications
- Preparation/Organization of detailed design studies, product specifications/drawings, simulations and calculations
- Technical project management with APQP team, based on different OE customer expectations
- Create test specifications
- Specify test methods and procedures together with Test Department
- Create project related technical documents as test results, process parameters in a structured manner
- Technical troubleshooting by using failure analysis tools
