QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

This role has key importance of increasing comminution (crushers, screens, mills, grinding machines) aftermarket sales and satisfaction. Regional Comminution Aftermarket Sales Engineer will develop and execute aftermarket strategies and actions and lead aftermarket team in the countries in NATCA region (North Africa, Turkey, Central Asia, Balkans, Caucasus) in order to ensure the aftermarket targets are achieved / overachieved and highest standards are met in intercompany aftermarket sales.


Job responsibilities:

  • Manage intercompany aftermarket sales activities in NATCA Region according to company’s operation procedures in safe way
  • Develop and execute aftermarket sales strategy in NATCA region and to develop and implement strategic plans that will support Weir’s existing client base and will enable the growth and profitability of the business.
  • Communicate with different comminution related departments in Weir Minerals Division, Vulco Liners Global Product Manager and ESCO Division regularly in order to increase the support level that the region is getting
  • Support the region to be more self-sufficient in the future
  • Arrange internal trainings for the regions
  • Visit customer sites regularly
  • Customer complaint control
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Build strong relations with the customers’ decision makers in the region
  • Pay regular visits to key account customers in the region
  • To work with the service delivery and operation teams to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and that service levels expected by the customer are delivered.
  • Ensure that the business is developed with a focus on working safely and ethically according to the code of conduct of Weir.


Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified ideally in an engineering discipline, mining or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Comminution equipment
  • Advanced English
  • Excellent communications skills – the ability to listen and to communicate complex commercial solutions confidently yet sensitively with customers, colleagues and upper management members with equal skill
  • Result oriented with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully partner with peers and senior business leaders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Driving licence is mandatory
  • No obstacle to travel
