Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering,
• Experienced in reinforcement materials and rubberizing processes,
• Preferably worked in the tyre industry,
• Having a good level of MS Office usage,
• Good command of English,
• Strong ability to analyze and solve problems,
• Having high teamwork and communication skills,
•Military service must be completed for male candidates,
Job Description
-Guarantee the development and the technical supervision of new reinforcing materials and related
components in order to use them in new products or to technically-economically improve existing
products, on the basis of the needs of other functions.
- Support Operational Units in all the issues related to reinforcing materials.
- Support the industrialization of reinforcing materials cooperating with all the involved functions.
- Manage contacts with suppliers and external R&D centres, and ensure adequate communication.
-Develop benchmarking activities in order to know how the reinforcing materials in use perform
against the competition.
- Homologate new raw materials and suppliers, new process lines by defining the technical
specifications for the suppliers and then by requesting the needed tests to the laboratory.
- Evaluate the results of the laboratory tests and support Purchasing in choosing the suitable
suppliers, from a technical perspective.
- Cooperate with the Physical and Chemical laboratories on the definition and realization of
predictive physical/chemical tests.
