QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Kaplankaya presents a mosaic of architecture, history and art, and is within easy reach many famed archaeological sites. There are 141 guestrooms including six suites (75 in the main building and 66 Ridge Villas), all boasting stunning views to the Aegean Sea. Scope

  • To support the Waiters & Waitresses in his/her role of running a smooth and efficient restaurant operation in line with the Hotels Mission, Vision and Objectives.
  • To support a healthy atmosphere for hosts for maximum efficiency and job satisfaction.
  • Ensuring restaurant set up is ready for service in timely and detailed fashion and is according to hotel restaurant standards and checklists including table tops, buffets, side stations, reception desk and general restaurant appearance.
  • Ensuring all equipment is used correctly and safely and cleaned after each use; that back of house and side stations are maintained in a clean and tidy manner. Maintaining hygiene and sanitation of all areas of outlet – back and front of house.
  • Paying attention to and anticipating and handling special guest needs and requests.
  • Participate in hotel training programs.
  • Ensuring speedy, polite, guest friendly service at all times, aimed at providing elegant service to hotel standards always in accordance with pre-agreed service sequences. Helping in a hand on way when needed.
  • Liaising during service in a professional manner with the kitchen, to achieve a timely delivery of food to the guest and effective communications at all times.
  • To check the menus are in good order, clean and tidy.
  • Responsible for cleaning table after guest departs and preparing it for the next guest in a timely and prompt manner.
  • To ensure chairs and tables are placed according to the required seating arrangement, kept clean and in good repair.
  • Responsible for knowing all food and beverage items served, as well as terminology.
  • Responsible for knowing all hotel facilities.
  • Responsible for the proper mise en place and appearance of the side stations, for clearing the trays from the side stations frequently, properly stacked and not too much at a time.
  • Fill the forms that you assigned such as checklist, fridge temperature etc.
  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by his/her manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Tourism High School degree.
  • Preferably experienced in a similar role in a luxury hotel chain.
  • Intermediate in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on sliding shift.
